My friend Chem kept on bugging me to try Caratela because he told me it’s really good. I was ‘trying to keep my diet’ that’s why I didn’t try it out ‘til the middle of the week. Caratela Premium Sorbetes is made out of Carabao’s milk. According to what i have read, carabao’s milk is richer and creamier because it has higher fat content compared to cow’s or goat’s milk. Currently, Caratela has has three flavors: tablea (chocolate), mango and ube.
A scoop of ice cream costs 60php. For the taste and quality, 60 pesos is worth it c: I only was able to try mango and tablea last week and yes, it was really good. I want to try ube soon. Hopefully they make new flavors. Leche flan please! <3
Anonymous: can I ask? do you just use Photoshop to edit your photos? or do you have other editing tools? :)
Anonymous: how do you edit your photos?? :D
hey anon(s)! I use photoshop CS5 to edit my photos. Aside from that, I don;t use any other tools or whatsoever.
For the last question, I’m sorry, but I won’t tell you the exact post processing formula that I use. Simply because I invested so much of my time experimenting to find the effects that I want. I can tell you some not so secret tips that might help.
1. I shoot using .NEF/ RAW format. It takes up a lot of memory, but it’s worth it. If you don’t have that format, you can download lightroom to edit your photos.
2. From there, when you use photoshop or lightroom you can do tons of magic already.
venaisms: i love the photos you posted here! do you have flickr or a dA page? wish i could be as good as you. :)
Hello there! I do have a flickr page but, I can’t post a lot of photos.=| There’s this 100mb limit per month and my files reach to more than 5mb a photo. So last month, I was only able to upload 20 photos. I already uploaded some more this month, and i’m hoping that i could add more to it soon.
Thank you! Just click the link below so that you will be redirected to my flickr page.

Anonymous: What camera and lens do you use? Do you own Wolf in sheep’s clothing? I love your photos btw!;p I use a Nikon D80. Which i do not own. I borrow it from my aunt because I don’t own a camera. For the lens, I just use the one that comes with it. Its a Sigma 28-300mm 1:3.5 - 6.3. Yes, I’m the co-owner of Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.
To all, thank you for the messages. I really appreciate them:)
I was looking at the trending topics in twitter when I saw the word Pepero. At first i thought it was referring to peppers. Then I clicked it. I found out that today 11/11 is Pepero Day. As I googled, Pepero Day is said to be the Korean equivalent of Valentines day. Pepero is the name of the chocolate covered sticks made by Lotte.
I got my Pepero sticks from Shine Korean Grocery in Timog. I bought one before I went home. It’s 35 pesos for one box and it contains 15 sticks. As for the taste, it just tastes like normal chocolate dipped pretzel. There are other variations and flavors, but I’m not really a fan of nuts and the other flavors.
But why did they call it Pepero day? According to some it was started by some schoolgirls in Busan who gave each other Pepero sticks on 11/11 to be tall and thin. You won’t exactly be thin if you ate tons of Pepero sticks right? Some say Pepero day was just made by Lotte as a marketing strategy to boost its sales. Well, who knows right?
