I thought of having a black and gold outfit but, I just can’t resist adding a touch of barbie-pink to the whole ensembles.

I wanted to do this post processing technique since forever! I saw this kind of effect in a magazine, so I did some research in google and a little experiment in photoshop. I’m happy I was able to produce the effect I want.

I wore this outfit to a night out in Fiamma. I like how my gold triangle necklace from Personalized Accessories, instantly overshadows all the femininity from my lace top. It’s the perfect accessory for the night!

This has been a long overdue! We had been planning to have this mini shoot since forever. Due to the uncooperative weather, I almost thought this won’t ever push through! As bloggers, you always need someone to take your photos. Unfortunately for the both of us, no one can take our photos. I already tried using self-timer + I tried teaching dozens of people the easiest way to handle a DSLR but then, it’s does not really produce the same results as someone who knows how to use a camera. That’s just one of the reasons why we decided to have this mini shoot. Part of the reasons is just we want to do this for fun and the love of our blogs!

Meet Rachel Ang. Our friendship roots all the way back in high school. She was actually the one who introduced me to the blogging world. Funny how we could pass as sisters. Matching hair length and matching print on print outfits! 

Although we planned this way ahead, I only prepared my clothes in the morning. So I quickly rummaged through my tiny closet to see what I could bring. Thankfully, my closet was was able to cough up with a couple of outfits.

My friends and I took advantage of the long weekend to set up a “business meeting.” It’s for something that we are brewing up. It’s something legit but, nothing’s really paper-official as of the moment — so I can’t say anything yet.

We met up in Cuisine Centrale — one of the restaurants I blogged before and it’s the place where I had my grad dinner. This is one of my favorite places to eat since I love the food quality, ambience, and the price is really worth-it.

Since it’s a meeting with friends, I wore something very casual. Add the fact that I was running very late, I really did not have time to think of what to wear. I just grabbed the first ones I saw.

(It’s incredible how my body can gain 5 pounds in a weekend. Please tell me i’m not the only one?) Anyway…ranting aside, I’m really hoping that our plan will flourish grow big. We already have an assignment. Hopefully, we can do a really good job and impress our client.

What I wore to Sunday family day + PBA Rookie Draft: black sheer top, Jhajings,maroon jeggins, Uniqlo + glitter-gold shoes, Stradivarious.

This maroon Uniqlo jeggings instantly became my favorite. I don’t really like wearing pants or jeans, but this pair is just so confortable.

After our late lunch in Cibo, I ran to Robinsons Ermita for the PBA Rookie Draft. Draft starts at 4:00 - I only left Greenhills 15 minutes before 4:00. I was literally running in the MRT station and along Padre Faura. I do not want miss the moment when they call out Emman’s name. I arrived at 4:30 — and lucky me, they were only on the fourth pick. 

The venue was packed with avid basketball fans (special mention to Chris Tiu’s fans)! I had trouble finding people I know, so I stood alone for most of the time while they were doing the picks. My boyfriend, Emman Monfort, got drafted at the second round!:)

The only photo of Emman in my camera. Well…it was a challenge to take decent pictures. I should’ve worn wedges to make myself a little bit taller. The stage was barely visible from where I was standing. I did my best, but this is all what my height could offer. 

An attempt to snap group photo of all the rookies. I tried squishing between the people to get a decent photo. Sadly, when I got a spot, they were already about to go down the stage. 

Despite my failed photo attempts, it was indeed it was a blessed Sunday. Three more Ateneans and (I think) all of Emman’s teammates from D-League’s NLEX-Road Warriors was also called that day. Emman was drafted by Barako Bull, Chris Tiu and Bacon Austria by Rain or Shine, then Jason Escueta by Talk and Text. So proud of my kuya’s! Congratulations! Here’s the complete list of the PBA draft results. I really hope all of them will have a great career ahead. I’m proud of Emman. He has come a long way - hard work and dedication brought him to where he is now. Good job babe. <3

It’s been a while since I posted something. It has been raining all week and the weather has been really CRAZY. The rains and thunderstorm left our house in an electric wreck due to the sudden power surges. It’s the first time that this happened to us, so imagine the panic when we heard an explosion inside our house in the middle of the night. Lucky for us my mom still has a free voucher in Midas Hotel. Perfect time to evacuate while the house is still in a semi-chaotic state. It’s a break from all that’s happening- definitely a stress reliever.

Of course, I was really looking forward to relax while in the hotel. I had a short me time while sipping tea and munching on some cookies. I LOVE tea! <3 

I prefer the combination of tea and cakes but all we had was cookies. 

I opted to wear one of my favorite dresses. I topped it off with the my DIY Ombre vest that I recently created. Accessories are at a minimum to make myself feel light and free!

While cleaning the house last week, I found this hand bag (see what i did there?) that my sibling, Mara, made a few years back. Interestingly, this is the same gloves we used for our ancient shoot, which is also my first post here in tumblr!

I’m quite thrilled that this handbag adds character to the whole outfit. Very playful indeed!

I’m thankful that we are all safe and that nothing happened to us. Despite the fact that we had problems at home because of the torrential rains, I think our problems we’re only so little compared to those who lost everything. Even if we did take the time off to a quick break, our family never forgot to help those people who are in need. I hope everyone is now. If not, continue to recover, hold on, and stay strong.

Here I am with Carlo Alcala and Bjorn Bedayo. We are also making our own pledges to save the environment. It’s not yet out, but watch out for it.

I would like to thank Sprinto for making me part of this. It’s overwhelming to be included in the same list with prominent personalities and celebrities. Aside from that, I thank them for believing in what I am capable on doing.

Who would say no to free ice cream? I got an invite from Nuffnang to attend the tasting of Mark’s and Spencer’s new line of ice cream. It was a perfect day to go since I also had intern duties to fulfill in Greenbelt 5 + some errands to do for my mom. 

Below are some snapshots from my quick visit to M&S’s ice cream tasting event.

I heard that the caramel pecan is a favorite among bloggers. I am a fan of caramel but I’m not really a fan of nuts. My favorites are: Blueberry cheesecake, triple chocolate and vanilla. Considering that the ice cream is made by M&S, the price is affordable. The price ranges from 350-475.

Aside from the ice cream tasting, I also got a free tote and chocolate lollipop! I love how the tote bag is British inspired! Olympic fever is on! I was not able to take a photo of the chocolate lollipop. We got stuck in traffic and it was the only food in sight. 

Oh, I had a haircut! What do you think?
