@anonymous - Hello there! Thank you very much for reading my blog!<3 such kind words too! <3 I wouldn’t really say i’m an expert but thank you for asking me for advice! :)
Usually, people pair yellow skirts with a white or black top. I advice that you try it with gray or army/olive green top. If you want a pop of color, you can pair it with a floral top - that could work as well. For shoes, since it’s summer, go for sandals! Any color aside from black will do! :) I hope this helps! <3

@anonymous - Thank you! I’m not exactly getting thinner! :| but i try:) I exercise now. I try to do it thrice a week. I eat less rice and eat more veggies. It’s not exactly the fastest way to lose weight, but it’s a healthy way of doing so.

@anonymous - hello! Well, I started taking photographs with a digital camera of an unknown brand while following the rule of thirds. No one taught me the rule of thirds, it’s just that, having a subject placed flat out center is really not appealing to me. Framing is really important as well. Never cut out people or objects in awkward spots. For people, never cut them at the joints, and leave a decent amount of headroom, never too big or never too small either. Sometimes, getting the right shot requires you sit, bend, lie down or stand on something random. I avoid using built in flash unless completely necessary. My last tip would be, practice practice practice! Lagi ko nga sinasabi, I have a LOT to learn as well. My photography is mediocre compared to other great photographers in Manila. I’m equally humbled and flattered that you asked me for advice. So I hope you fine this helpful! :)

@anonymous - Taiwan, China, Malaysia, France, Italy, Netherlands, Vatican, Germany, Monaco and Spain :)

@anonymous - YES! we’re a few… but, the one who actively blogs is Faith. We did not go on the same package but she went on a contiki tour too. http://theworldbyfaith.com/

@anonymous - hello dear! thank you for all the kind words! This means a lot!:) Thank you so much for reading my blog! <3 Sana you said hi! I don’t bite naman! Anyway, I’ll be visiting Ateneo next week or soon. :) Thank you again! <3

@annemarielleg - thank you so much! <3 this means a lot!:)

@muchmorehappydays - hello there! contiki is really a tour for young people like us! It was great. I enjoyed it so much. Even if it was a short tour, I really became attached to them that I cried when we were dropped off the airport.
Of course, it’s still different when you know someone who can go with you. For me…it’s both ways. haha! It’s better if you have a someone to go with you but going alone is not bad either! If you really want to travel, now is the time to. So, with or without a buddy, I say, go for it!:D

@cheskapotatokid - hello! I really try my best to make them better each time. <3 Thank you for supporting my blog! :)

@azvillahermosa - hi! thank you so much! Chasing The World is not exactly a travel blog. hahaha! i’ve been traveling and going around places recently just because it’s my last taste of “freedom.” My blog is not dedicated to travel posts, but it’s just a portion of what it really is. haha! I don’t really follow travel blogs. @_@ I follow more fashion blogs. So, I cannot really recommend anything. Sorry!:(

@iwillnotbenoisy - I have a lot but, I can give 3 basic tips.
1. Do not slack off. Submit everything, do every requirement, read everything. This will save you all the hassle whenever there is an exam.
2. Never use your cuts unless it is needed and the sem is about to end. Never use your cuts at the beginning of the sem
3. Find good friends. :)
Just follow the #tipsforateneofreshmen thread in twitter! you will get a lot there:D

@anonymous - As far as i know, there is no entrance fee as long as you are part of the guest list. They have birthday packages which includes unlimited guest list and free drinks for the night. They gave me a different package coz I know the owner and promoters. So, I really do not have an idea on how much things are.

@19shotsforyew - Thank you so much for your excitement!:) I hope I will not disappoint you and your expectations! Thank you once again!

@19shotsforyew - Hi Bianca! thank you so much! well…i wanted to be an architect, interior designer or an industrial designer before. (ang dami kong gusto sa buhay) Well…i like designing things in general. I pay attention to detail. I have this love for aesthetic, I observe design — whether cars, buildings and clothes or other things. It’s a complicated explanation; I could go on all day. Thank you! I really appreciate this!

@anonymous - for me, 35mm. I’m using 35mm for everyday, for parties and portraits. I got a photographer friend who also uses 35mm to shoot events and parties. It’s more versatile. 50mm is too near for me, it will be harder to take photos. I got my 35mm for around 10k++ only. So, a really good deal!:D

@anonymous - I love BJ Pascual and Mark Nicdao. <3

@ann - hi ann! i’m using springfield by josh. although I super customized mine already. edited a lot of stuff na. haha!
here’s the link: http://springfieldtheme.tumblr.com/post/69484681/download-theme

@anonymous - i used custom HTML for the banner. the images on your tumblr website heavily depends on what theme you use. mine was not suposed to have a banner. but i googled and found a way to replace the title with an image header, then i just made the size bigger. :D

@anonymous - i’ll just describe the one i’m closest to. haha! Tata (kirk’s girlfiriend) is the sweetest, most humble person i’ve ever met. She’s so patient and understanding as well. A great friend and a good listener. She’s also a great coach and trainer. On top of that she is soooooo gorgeous!:)

@spongieeebob - Thank you!:)

@anonymous - I’ve only been to China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Hong Kong during transit only. :)

@randomchill - believe it or not, di pa ako magaling sa lagay na yan. haha! as i always say, i still have a lot to learn and improve!:) pero salamaaaaat! <3

@anonymous - you mean for MEGA?:) I don’t have an external flash. So I used my built in flash with diffuser. I did not use flash during the runway since the stage had an abundant amount of light. Postprocessing…I do everything in photoshop. I have some saved actions. But exactly what I can’t tell you. I’ve put on an abundant amount of time just to get the effect that I want. So consider that as classified!:)

@anonymous - I think the sharpness, I owe it to the lens. The soft glow? I’m not sure what your talking about. But maybe because of the post processing?:)

Sad to see that my first “fan mail” is spam. HAHA. I’ll post it anyway. :D

@anonymous - i don’t really have one. i take inspiration from what i see and from my mood. but…probably…just to name…the Olsen twins? I like how they dress- but not all the time.

@theshutterbugdiaries - you’re welcome and God bless you too!:D

@theshutterbugdiaries - (i think this is my longest reply ever! haha!) i find it hard to level up as well. i keep on looking at other photographer’s works and i feel bad for my photos. :))
what i do is, i look at others’ photos then criticize or compare them to mine. if they have better photos i analyze what are the qualities that make it good and if it’s bad, same thing, analyze why it’s bad. then from there, the next time i shoot, i’ll have a better idea how to compose my shots.
i looked at some of your photos, and it’s actually pretty good. try to fix the white balance, para it won’t be so yellow. your angles are actually pretty good as well. just cut at the right part! AND. you went to Ateneo!:)) you could have told me! i’d be glad to meet you. :))
anyway, I don’t use my built in flash. worst case scenario na before i open it up. i hate using the built in flash without the diffuser. since i broke my diffuser in less than a week since i got it, i haven’t really tried experimenting and using it for an event or shoot. I borrow an external flash sometimes, that’s the one i like using. Yes, still with diffuser to make the light softer.

@theshutterbugdiaries -i have the same feeling sometimes. haha! I feel like my photos lack something or it’s not ‘sharp enough.’ I don’t really know how to answer your question. I think photography just more requires practice. Experiment with everything - with angles, treatment and lighting. :)

@rintintin - awww. thank you!<3 it’s located at Jupiter St. Makati City. you can look at other info here: https://www.facebook.com/FFFManila?sk=info hope this helps!:)

@dyanarapolangcus - no problem and thank you! i love your blog btw! your posts are aso cute!:)

@anonymous - thank you! i just used my nikon d5000 with 35mm 1.8 lens. Settings, F2, and it’s set on A priority. I think the ISO is up at…800 or 1500? not so sure. That’s basically it. :)

@pinoyshuttr - it’s a really nice feeling when i get a message like this. THANK YOU!:D

@anonymous - hello! i do everything in photoshop. :)

@anonymous - Though it sounds risky, it’s still best to bring your camera when you buy lenses. For two reasons. 1. You need to test the lens that you’re buying to see if it functions properly. (This will lessen the chances of you going back to replace the lens) 2. You get the feel and you can see how the shots look like with the lens of your choice.
I went there unsure if i’ll get a 55mm or a 35mm. Shops there allow you to test the lenses that you want to buy. I was actually happy that I brought my camera with me, coz I got try and choose which lens I really need. Hope this helps!:D
ps. Just put your camera in a non-camera-looking bag. So that robbers wont suspect that you have a camera with you. :)

@rintintintin - it’s okay! just ask, my ask box is open!:) i have plans A and B. Both includes me, having a break after college. Plan A is find a work right away after the break. Plan B, is to go to taipei and get a citizenship, then come back here to find work. :)

@ysobelstarts - Mine is good!:D I just don’t remember the price. :(

@anonymous - Grace Christian College (Grace Christian High School)

@anonymous - emman said monday, dec 5. but he is not sure what time though. :(

@anonymous - hi, i’ve been thinking what picture are you talking about. are you talking about the display photo? What I did was, I uploaded my file in a web host. then I incorporated the link to my html theme to make it as my dp. :)

@ambidextrueness - its 1,100 NT. roughly around 1600. :)

@anonymous - it can be fixed from twitter. so…from your twitter home page, click your name on the upper right corner. then click settings. After that, look for the profile tab. Then look below the ‘WEB’ box, there’s a link “you can also add twitter to your site here” click that and twitter will guide you na:D

@anonymous - yes i am! send me an email at chaselynnchua@gmail.com :)

@herewaitingpatiently - thanks for waiting!:)) i forgot to answer my ask box. i use springfield by hunson. it’s so far the best for me since it is very customizable unlike the themes i tried before. i recommend springfield!:D i used greying and the notebook style *thingy* before and they worked fine. but this one is what i like the best.

@anonymous - not really. hmm. but, i think i’m better now?:) haha! i really used to speak english a lot at home and with my friends. but nagtatagalog din talaga ako. i’m learning a lot of languages from mandarin to fokkien to english to tagalog to other dialects so, i think that forbids me to be really fluent in one language. :)

@anonymous - tell me what to do! haha! MAYBE I could make a turorial for it. :)

@ysobelstarts - yes i did but, i retained the edging stitch that was on the neckline to prevent it from rolling.

@anonymous - I admit, the tuition is really expensive but, Ateneo is not limiting it’s students for the rich. Most come from really blessed families but, there are also students from different income brackets. Ateneo offers scholarships to help those who need financial assistance. So, Ateneo is not necessarily pang mayaman. :) I don’t have allowance anymore!:))

@anonymous - YUP!

@justfakingsmiles - Nope. Ateneo does not have BS Architecture. :(

@anonymous - thanks!

@bearderp - i use a nikon d5000. Thannk you!

@seventeencookies - his whole speech is really something worth remembering. :)

@pictureperfectdude - hello!:D

@anonymous - It’s actually available for public viewing. I think you just need to login to FB? :) I don’t know how to extract the file. Since I don’t have the original and I couldn’t embed the video, I could only post it as a link for now.

@anonymous - i’d love to visit there! i *might* go this sem break. IF plans push through.

@anonymous - I don’t have but, i know someone who took a video. No one posted yet, but i’ll make sure to post it here when I get a copy of it.

@anonymous - hmmm. i love that he is spontaneous. That’s what i really loved when we were still on the ‘dating’ stage.

@pictureperfectdude - yes, ateneo has all those too!:D

@anonymous - When i saw him in Araneta, I congratulated him. He was still in a state of shock at that time, so he didn’t even talk much. He just stared at me. HAHA. When i saw him after the mass and speech, that’s when I hugged him. :)

Anonymous -He just said, something like (not in exact words) ‘you know i’m just here waiting. I’ll wait for your answer whenever you are ready’ Something like that. I forgot where he said that i just remember that there was a pending question.
He’d randomly text ‘you’re so pretty today’ he’d buy lunch for me and call me to go eat with him, if not he’d give it to me. He’d walk me to class, and sometimes surprise me after. He’d remember the little things others don’t. Those sweet little things. :)

@anonymous - after the championship, there was a mass held in Gesu, then the seniors had a speech after the mass. After that, we had dinner in Sambokojin with the rest of the team then Fiamma. :)

@anonymous - i answered yes midnight of feb 14. actually, he didn’t ask that night; the question was always pending for a couple of months already. he was just patiently waiting for an answer. i was supposed to answer on the 13th but, when he got the hint that I was going to answer, he asked me to save it till midnight. he is sweet everyday. naming one sweet thing that he did would be injustice! haha! i’ll try to bug him and make videos if we could. thank you!:D

@karlameil - salamat! and yes, i’m a proud girlfriend!:D

@anonymous - thank you so much! i used to borrow my aunt’s d80. but last June/July I got myself a D5000. Thats what I have been using recently. Lens: just the kit lens. 18-200mm. 2.8. Nope. I think I’d keep photography as a hobby and ‘sideline’ haha! It’s more fun that way. :)

@maestrademusica - super sweet of you! <3 Heima is in Cubao Expo (used to be called Marikina Shoe Expo). Its located in Along Gen. Romulo Ave. Thank you again!:D

@rintintintin - oh thank you!:D you’re so sweet!

@babblemouth - As of 8/14/11 We’re exactly 18months today. <3

@anonymous - thank you! <3

@anonymous - yes and no. i have my ugly days. but there I times that i have those “i feel pretty days” I feel pretty but not to the point that it gets into my head.

@anonymous - yes i do:D

@im21 - this is a bit too late. haha! but it would be, chilling beside the pool, sipping ice cold fruit shakes, while hearing the sound of the waves.
